Brother Cosponsors Japan Pavilion at The Expo 2020 Dubai
Exactly one year from now Dubai will showcase the World’s Greatest show and we can’t wait to take part of this expo.
Brother Industries, Ltd. (President: Ichiro Sasaki) cosponsors Japan pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai held in the United Arab Emirate (U.A.E.) between October 20, 2020 and April, 2021.
The Expo 2020 Dubai is the first International Registered Exhibition held in the Middle East, under the theme of “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. Japan pavilion’s theme is the “Crosspoint for the Future. Join. Sync. Act.”
The Brother Group has been developing its business on a global basis, and its sales ratio outside Japan exceeded 80%. In the Middle East, it has been running business for over 20 years since the establishment of its sales company in Dubai, BROTHER INTERNATIONAL (GULF) FZE, in October 1996. The Expo 2020 Dubai expects a lot of visitors from not only the Middle East, but also all over the World including Asia. Therefore, Brother decided to cosponsor the Japan pavilion as the Crosspoint for the future due to its high affinity for Brother’s history and current status.
Japan has broken ground on its pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai on 26th August 2019, which is officially marked the beginning of construction and the preparations for exhibits at the Expo 2020 Dubai Japan Pavilion are underway under the leadership of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, co-organized by the Ministry of International affairs and Communications, Ministry of Education, Culture Sports, Science and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
Managing Director of Brother International (GULF) FZE, Soichi Murakami says “We are proud to be part of the one of the biggest event, as the Expo 2020 Dubai will leave a lasting impact as an economic driver, including stimulating new investment in the Middle East region”
