Brother won “iF Design Award 2017” for 7 categories
Brother Industries, Ltd., a parent company of Brother International (Gulf), FZE one of the leading global manufacturer of laser and inkjet printing devices, received seven “iF DESIGN AWARD 2017” across its laser, scanner, mobile print and label printer ranges.
With over 60 years’ experience of awarding outstanding design ideas, the iF Design Award is an internationally recognised mark of excellence. The judging took place over three days in Hamburg, by a panel of 58 renowned international experts.
The iF Design Awards attracted 5,575 product entries from around 59 nations this year alone, making it a highly competitive prize to receive. This year’s seven awards across four product categories take the tally of awards to 62 for Brother, the print and technology company, who are celebrating their decade of wins.

iF DESIGN AWARD is hosted and judged by the iF-International Forum Design, in Hannover, Germany. This is one of the most prestigious international design competitions and has been running since 1953. It is recognized around the world and judged not only on the external appearance of the product, but also on criteria such as functionality and environmental performance.
